Branding Toolkit Installation Guide

System Requirements

Before installing, please ensure your system meets these requirements:

  • WordPress 6.0 or higher
  • PHP 8.0 or higher
  • Write permissions on the wp-content/plugins directory

Installation Methods

Method 1: WordPress Dashboard Installation (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Navigate to Plugins โ†’ Add New
  3. Click the “Upload Plugin” button at the top of the page
  4. Click “Choose File” and select your downloaded 7thcircle-clientbranding.zip file
  5. Click “Install Now”
  6. After installation completes, click “Activate Plugin”

Method 2: Manual FTP Installation

  1. Download the plugin zip file from your purchase email or account dashboard
  2. Unzip the downloaded file on your computer
  3. Using an FTP client, connect to your website’s server
  4. Navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  5. Upload the 7thcircle-clientbranding folder to this directory
  6. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  7. Navigate to Plugins โ†’ Installed Plugins
  8. Find “7th Circle Designs’ Client Branding” and click “Activate”

Post-Installation Setup

  1. License Activation
    • Navigate to Client Branding โ†’ License
    • Enter your license key and email address from your purchase email
    • Click “Activate License”
    • You should see a “License activated successfully” message
  2. Verify Installation
    • Look for the new “Client Branding” menu item in your dashboard
    • Try creating a new license entry to ensure everything works
    • Check that all custom fields are displaying correctly

Troubleshooting Common Issues

License Key Not Activating

  • Verify you’re using the correct license key
  • Ensure your site is connected to the internet
  • Check that your site URL matches your license registration
  • Contact support if problems persist

Plugin Not Appearing

  • Clear your browser cache
  • Deactivate and reactivate the plugin
  • Check your PHP version meets requirements
  • Verify WordPress version compatibility
