This release includes two fixes. On April 9, 2025 we released 9.8.1 shortly after releasing 9.8.0. This is the first stable tag of the 9.8.X series.
What’s in this release
🐛 This change fixes a bug introduced in 9.8, where the checkout could break when a ‘sold individually’ product was added to the cart more than once. The system now correctly handles such scenarios by displaying a warning, preventing fatal errors during checkout. #57070
🧪 Resolved flakiness in the product/product-edit.spec.js E2E test by implementing more reliable selectors and adding necessary wait condition. #56900
