WooCommerce 9.6.2 has been released
This release addresses an unintended style inheritance issue affecting store frontends.

🛠️ Resolved unintended color inheritance in store frontends #55366 and #55412
The 9.6.1 release included updates to WooCommerce’s brand colors in the admin interface. We received reports that in some themes, these admin color updates were unintentionally affecting store frontend styling. This release ensures that admin styling remains properly scoped and prevents any unwanted inheritance of admin color values in store frontends.
Areas addressed include:
- Secondary color calculations.
- Legacy checkout payment methods display.
- Price slider widget styling.
- Link hover states.
If you experienced any unexpected color changes in your store frontend after updating to 9.6.1, upgrading to 9.6.2 will restore your intended theme styling.
